3 New Places To Eat In Utah

I’ll admit that when it comes to trying new foods or dishes, I am the worst. I’ve always been a picky eater which is why I have a regular at pretty much every restaurant I often eat at. My Husband always makes fun of me because I never need to look at the menu and I’m always the first one ready to order when we go out to eat. I like finding new restaurants because it forces me to shake it up a bit, try something new, and discover a little bit more about what I like and don’t like!  Here are three recommendations if you are looking for somewhere new to grab something to yummy to eat!

  1. Punch Bowl Social -Salt Lake City

Weekends are meant for having fun, relaxing, and letting go of any stress from the week. If you’re looking for a new place to go out with some friends, this is the spot. Not only is their food amazing, but they offer a variety of fun activities and games. You can spend the night munching on tasty food, sipping some punch, and singing your heart out in karaoke. Make sure to try one of their milkshakes while you’re there!

Before you go, be sure to make a reservation on their website.

2. Pig and A Jelly Jar– Odgen, Salt Lake, Holladay

If you haven’t tried chicken and waffles yet, then you are missing out. It’s a weird combination, but it makes total sense once you taste it! Pig and A Jelly Jar is my favorite place to head for chicken and waffles, but they also have a variety of other tasty options on the menu. Make sure to go on a Thursday when they offer chicken and waffles for only $5.

See what else they are serving on the menu!

3. The Crepery– Logan, Provo, St. George

Last, but not least, The Crepery- “… happily serving its guests fresh coffee and handmade crepes since 2009”. Here you can taste the crepes voted best of state! They are local to Utah and have locations in Logan, Provo, and St. George. It’s one of my favorite places to eat not only because of how yummy their food is, but because of how cozy the restaurants feel. They also support local artist which is just another aspect of this restaurant I can get on board with. While waiting for your crepe, you can roam the restaurant and observe different pieces of art hung on the walls. Find one you love? You’re in luck. They’re for sell!

Whether you are a major foodie or you’re just getting bored of your regulars, one of my favorite places to go to look for new recommendations for places to eat in Utah is Utah Grubs. You’ll never have to get bored of food again!
